Perfect Protein Granola Bars

It’s back to school time again, so I’ve decided to post a great, healthy, protein and fibre packed snack. Perfect Protein Granola Bars are great for lunches, a snack on the go, or an amazing post-workout recovery treat.

What you’ll need:
1 cups of rolled oats and 1 cup puffed Kashi cereal blend
2 scoops Perfect Nutrition French Vanilla Diesel Whey Protein
2 tbsp hemp or I used a Superseed blend (chia, flax, hemp)
1 tsp cinammon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup nut butter (use 1/4 cup of coconut oil or sun butter for a nut-free, school-safe version)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup almond milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup stevia chocolate chips (feel free to be creative here, I’ve also added pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, coconut, raisins....possibilities are endless!)
8x8 baking dish


-Preheat your oven to 350F
-Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. I usually mix up all of my “wet” ingredients and then add the “dry” ones. I find this helps create a nice, uniform mixture.
-Line a 8x8 baking dish with partchment paper and transfer the mixture to the dish. For a smoother surface you can grease the bottom of a glass and press into the dish.
-Bake for 10-15 minutes until edges are golden brown
